Clinical Decision Support Tool
ICU Nutrition Engine™ provides calculated nutrition targets to support
clinical decision-making in intensive care settings. This is a decision support tool —
not an autonomous prescriber. All outputs require physician review,
clinical judgment, and formal prescription orders.
What INE Is
- Calculates daily energy (kcal) and protein (g) targets
- Considers weight, clinical conditions, and nutrition route
- Supports physician decision-making — does not replace it
- Works offline — no network dependency
What INE Is NOT
- NOT an order generator
- NOT a formula selector
- NOT a rate/volume calculator
- NOT a replacement for clinical judgment
